In conjunction with its market survey of UK call centres which found that call centres take unnecessary risks with credit card data, Veritape has released a white paper, The Great Credit Card Gamble. The white paper indicates that more than nineteen in twenty call centres which store recordings of transactional conversations with customers do not delete or mask the credit card details in the recordings.
