Veritape recently presented at the PCI DSS European Roadshow. This popular event, held in 3 locations annually, is organised by VigiTrust.
VigiTrust is known for their work helping companies become fully aware of the security issues in their organisation, and helping to resolve them. It is because of this close-knit integration with the PCI DSS community in particular that they are able to draw on such a great lineup of speakers, which included:
- Jeremy King, the European Director at the PCI SSC
- Doug Smith from Verizon Business, showcasing Verizon’s annual data breach report
- Matt Martin, speaking from Barclaycard’s perspective about PCI DSS challenges for merchants
- Eamonn Skyrme and Nick Heape from Visa Europe, who discussed the Visa Third Party Agents list, launching soon
- Gerard Curtin from PixAlert, who detailed the practical challenges companies face in locating cardholder data in their environment
- Peter Brudenall, a Partner at LG Legal, who talked about the Data Protection Act, the Information Commissioner’s Office, and the upcoming proposed changes to the Data Protection laws.
It was Veritape’s pleasure to be presenting in such company. Veritape’s Managing Director, Cameron Ross, discussed the 5 ways companies can become PCI DSS compliant for their call recording systems. As usual, there was lively discussion around such a topic.
If you would like a copy of Cameron’s presentation, please contact us and we’ll be happy to send it to you.
Many thanks to VigiTrust, whose CEO Mathieu Gorge and VP of Sales Breandán Murray hosted such an informative and engaging day.
