Security / RobustnessWho is allowed to play calls?Veritape CallCentre contains a full Users/Groups security system, which gives you the ability to determine exactly who is allowed to listen to calls, and which calls they can listen to.Can Agents delete their own calls?Only if they have permission to - which by default, they don't.Are calls recorded with Veritape CallCentre admissible in court?All calls from any call recording system are admissible as evidence. However, the courts will place differing emphasis on the content of the recorded calls depending on the likelihood of their having been tampered with. Veritape CallCentre uses industry-standard Windows security methods to secure calls and ensure that they cannot be altered or deleted by users without the correct privileges. In addition, call archiving and backup processes can provide solid evidence as to the nature of a recorded call at a particular snapshot in time.Are calls recorded with Veritape CallCentre encrypted?File encryption is not included as a standard part of Veritape CallCentre. It complies with and utilises the full security systems of Windows-based computing. System administrators can assign levels of access to staff as appropriate. UK Data Protection Act requirements are fully met, and several of Veritape's customers (including UK listed banks and companies regulated by the FSA) have fully tested the security systems without fault.Does Veritape CallCentre log the access to and deletion of recorded calls?Veritape Manager, the call retrieval and playback module of Veritape CallCentre, logs when calls are played or deleted.
