When each call on a given telephone extension has finished being recorded, the recordings are automatically copied onto a central storage location
For larger installations, this will typically be a server. However, where small numbers of telephone extensions are being recorded (less than 20, say) the storage location could easily be one of the computers which is also recording calls
As the recorded call is copied to the central storage location, data relating to each call is also copied across to a central database
